Hello everyone. Sorry for the long months of inactivity. ^ ^;

If you haven't seen my facebook post, I had to cancel all of my convention plans for this season (sorry everyone who thought I would be at ACEN ;;; ), and perhaps the rest of the year due to financial constraints and some possible lifestyle changes. It is extremely unfortunate since I was so looking forward to seeing everyone and making some new costumes, but it can't really be helped. I'm probably going to still be pretty inactive on here for a while longer (though I'm going to try to still pop by and post some pics), so please bear with me. ^ ^; To everyone who was going to be at the cons I was planning to attend, I hope you all have a blast, and I'm so sad I won't be seeing you!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to drop by and let you all know that I opened up a storenvy shop! It's called Emporium Mienai, and you can find the link here! [link] I currently only have one product for sale, but that number will grow as I finish more designs! ^w^ (and yes, Fairy Ocarinas will be available for purchase through there as soon as possible!)

As you all may have guessed, KatsuCon was a ton of fun and surprisingly successful for me haha. I finished 3 out of the 6 costumes I wanted to complete (making this con the convention I debuted the most costumes at EVER lol!) Much to my surprise, the reason I didn't finish all of my costumes was due to financial constraints rather than time. Shocking conclusion: cosplay is expensive lolol. I will upload more photos of my costumes as I receive them (I'm really excited to upload some iDOLM@STER pics!). :3

For Acen, I'm going to try this plan-too-many-costumes-and-somehow-manage-to-get-a-bunch-of-them-done thing again lol. So my plans are:

Iron Man Sailor Senshi - for my Senshi Avengers group, inspired by ~nna's art found here: [link]
Princess Zelda - Ocarina of Time
Princess Garnet (yellow jumpsuit) - Final Fantasy IX

I'm also planning to attend Fanime and ColossalCon, though I will probably put priority on Fanime because I haven't been there in a few years, and I miss my West Coast bb's! <333 When it's closer to Acen, I'll have a better idea of what costumes I'll be bringing to Fanime and ColossalCon. :3

Hi everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! I had a super awesome birthday! I went to Medieval Times, ate tasty food, caught one of my knight's flowers, and my knight also won the tournament! I don't think I could've asked for a better evening! ^ ^

For those wondering, I won't be attending OhayoCon 2013. I've decided to attend KatsuCon instead this year, because I've never been there and I think it's worth a visit. :3 I'm planning a lot of costumes for this con, and I'm REALLY hoping I'll be able to get them all done in time haha. My tentative plans are:

Harle - Chrono Cross (Complete)
Yukiho - The IdolM@STER (with a big group )
Freya - Chobits (with *IchigoKitty as Chii) :3
TP Zelda and Toon Zelda revamp (remaking a lot of damaged accessories)
Princess Zelda - Ocarina of Time

I was also hoping I'd be able to also complete a Princess Yue costume and Goddess Zelda costume in time, but my current financial situation says that isn't going to be very likely.

Anyway, I hope everyone stays warm and has a very Merry Christmas! Those of you attending KatsuCon, I hope to see you all there!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the inactivity. ^ ^; I've been neglecting dA so much these past couple months, that my inbox sort of overflowed. I decided to just completely clean everything out. If you left a comment that I haven't responded to, know that I did read it and I do appreciate each and every one. <3 If you had a question that I didn't answer, feel free to ask me again. ^ ^; If you had a question about my Twilight Princess Zelda costume, I just now wrote up a FAQ for it, which you can now find on my front page. ^ ^ So please look through that before sending me your question again.

I have a couple commissions to finish, as well as my YoumaCon costumes before November, so I will be doing my very best to be as active as possible.

Speaking of YoumaCon, Costumes I'll be bringing are Harle from Chrono Cross, Skyloft Zelda, and Toon Zelda. I haven't decided which days I'll be wearing what costumes, but I will update this post when I decide.

Also, thanks a lot to ~rlshotts for yet another premium membership! Seriously, oh my god you're too kind to me. <3

Hello all~ I come to let you all know that I have four more Fairy Ocarinas available to ship on Monday. Send me a note if interested! Details about my ocarinas are here: [link]

Acen was so amazing and I feel so lucky that I was able to attend! It was so wonderful to see the people I never get to see, as well as meet new really awesome people. :3 Sadly I missed the Zelda Gathering again (haha story of my life), but I'm glad I could still meet up with a few Zelda cosplayers. I also got to debut my SS Zelda costume on Saturday! That costume is so super comfy and fun to wear I can't wait until I am able to wear it again! X3

Next convention was originally going to be Fanime, but then something came up and I won't be available to fly out until Saturday of Fanime, and at that point it's hardly worth the expenses. I'm SO SAD that I'll be missing it again this year. I MISS MY WEST COAST FRIENDS! T^T

Instead, I will be trying to make it to ColossalCon next month. If I'm able to make it, I will probably wear my SS Zelda costume and my Politoed gijinka (maybe this time I'll actually get pics to share with you all. XD).  Let's hope things work out! :3

Hello, everyone! :3 I'm happy to say that I currently have 3 Fairy Ocarinas available for sale. :3 They are $89 each plus shipping. They are available on a first come, first serve basis, so send me a note if you're interested! :3 Here's a bit more info on these ocarinas:



-They have seven holes
-They have a one octave range, starting at G one octave above middle C
-They are tuned in the key of G Major
-They are "in tune with themselves" meaning they aren't "concert tuned." Any instrument played in accompaniment with these ocarinas will need to be tuned to the ocarina. At least, until I can achieve concert intonation. ^ ^;
-They are made from Sculpey III polymer clay.

Since it's going to be time to get ready for Acen pretty soon, I won't have any more ocarinas available until around early to mid-May, but at that point I'll be able to consistently take orders for Fairy Ocarinas.

Hello, everyone!

My 100,000 hits kiriban is coming up fast, and in addition to my usual photo upload to commemorate, I've decided to create a contest to go along with it, since 100,000 feels like a huge milestone to me, hehe. XD Whoever can screencap my page with the view counter reading 100,000 (or closest number after 100,000) will receive my very first tuned playable fairy ocarina for free!

As for conventions, I'll be at ACEN at the end of next month. :3 Despite it only being a little less than two months away, costume lineup is still being decided. I do know that I will definitely be debuting my Skyward Sword Zelda there though. :3 Whoever else plans to go, hope to see you there!

I've decided to go on a 6 month cosplay hiatus starting today. I've been feeling burned out these past couple weeks, and I don't want to grow to resent this hobby, as I still have a passion for it. In addition, I'm moving to a new city in May, and I won't be able to focus on costumes, cons, moving, and job hunting. Sadly, this means I'll be missing Acen, Fanime, and possibly YoumaCon, but I still think it's for the best. In the meantime, I'll be focusing on things I've been neglecting, so I may still upload a drawing or two, and I'll likely still be checking my messages here. There is still a small possibility I might make it to Acen, since it's a relatively cheap con, but it depends on how I feel when the time comes. I may even cut the hiatus short by a few months. To everyone I was going to see at these conventions, I'm sorry I won't be able to make it, and I hope to see you all soon.

First and foremost, I want to thank all my new watchers and all the kind people who comment and fave~ I really appreciate all the support and feedback! :3 I've received literally hundreds of comments in a very short amount of time, and while I've been able to read all of them, I don't know if I will ever get around to replying to them all. ^ ^; So, just know that even if I don't reply, I still read and appreciate your comments. <3

My Rainbow Brite cosplay didn't end up selling in the auction. I'm still deciding whether I will relist it or just list it in the Cosplay.com Marketplace. I'll probably end up doing the latter, and hopefully someone will come along and be able to give her a new home.

I've just started work on my OoT Princess Zelda costume. I recently finished all of my drafts and patterns, and I've started on the tabard. I've also sculpted out nearly all her jewelry and accessories, including the model for the jewel on her circlet. Really hoping to have the tabard complete by the end of this month~ *crosses fingers* Once I'm able to buy more materials, I have a feeling this costume is going to be completed in no time. :3 I've also started remaking the jewelry and accessories for my revamp of TP Zelda. So far I'm almost done remaking the chest piece and crown, as well as new models for new jewels. I'm going to be trying some new methods this time. I really hope they work out~ X3

Time is flying by so fast! Only 3 more months until ACEN! X3

Well, hello again~

OhayoCon was super fun! Got to hang out with tons of people that I don't normally get to hang out with, and met lots of new people. :3 The only down side was that quite a few people I was hoping would be there weren't able to make it ( , , , , and - It's a shame you guys couldn't be there. )

Saria did get finished in time, thankfully. I issued that costume an ultimatum, that if it didn't get done, I wasn't going to the con, and it shaped right up lololol. I had a lot of fun cosplaying Saria~ :3 Got a super cool shoot from . She's got a few up already. Excited to see the rest of the shots. :333 May upload a photo of that costume tonight~

I'm thinking about selling my Rainbow Brite costume. What I mean by 'thinking about' is I probably am. She's kinda old, and I kinda want to completely remake her from scratch, but I don't want all my hard work on her to go to waste, plus I've had a few offers already, and I think she deserves a nice new home. :3 Probably will post an ebay link up here in the next couple days or so.

Next cosplay on the list will be... OoT Princess Zelda! Also I'll be redoing a lot of my TP Zelda this spring, and possibly a cloak! No promises, though. XD; Next convention will be ACEN, and my current plan is to have OoT Zelda, give Marin a proper debut, and will probably wear Saria as well.
